| Follow-up Project for Installing an Accessible Elevator in the Information Building | The deficiencies identified during the accessibility inspection have been corrected. On May 4, 2021, an application for re-inspection was submitted. On May 7, the contractor was notified to provide additional photos of the corrected deficiencies and the as-built drawings. On June 10, the University submitted the required documents. On June 16, the county government reviewed and found the format non-compliant. On June 18, the contractor was notified of the review results and asked to submit the required documents as soon as possible. |
| Renovation Project of the Parking Lot Behind the Administrative Building (Expected to be extended to completion on July 1, 2022) | The fifth extension of the Ministry of Education subsidy was approved, extending the subsidy closing date to October 31, 2022. Partial acceptance was completed on April 29 and payment has been processed. Work resumption was reported on June 16, with 16 calendar days remaining in the construction period. Fireproof paint has been applied, and fireproof corrugated panels are being installed. If completed early, the parking area will be opened ahead of schedule. |
| Renovation of Restrooms in Phase III & IV Teaching Buildings and the Activity Center | Construction began on October 6, 2021, and demolition was completed on October 18, 2021. The original contract items have been completed and opened for use. Work was suspended starting June 8, and the second contract modification is in progress. |
| Improvement Project for Interior Spaces of the Student Activity Center | Basic design review was completed on May 23, 2022, and detailed design review on June 14, 2022. Design work was completed on June 17, 2022. The project is currently in the tender announcement stage, with the first bid opening scheduled for July 14, 2022. |
| Renovation of the Walkway Around the Administrative Building Fountain | Bid opening for qualification review was held on February 22, 2022, with three bidders, all of whom met the qualifications. A public evaluation was held on March 1, where “Chu Hsiang-Ju Architects” was selected as the top-ranked firm. Price negotiation was conducted on March 14, and a fixed fee rate of 90% (NT$609,549) was agreed upon. The preliminary planning and basic design report was submitted on March 31 (within the deadline) and approved in the design review meeting on April 15. Detailed design materials were submitted on May 2 (within the deadline) and approved via written review on June 2. The planning and design final report was submitted on June 20 (within the deadline). Since the construction site overlaps with that of the “Second Teaching Area Landscape Renovation Project,” the engineering portion will be combined for tendering to meet construction access and management needs. |
