NFU Office of General Affairs

Founding

Founded in August 1980, the Office of General Affairs established a custodial division to manage all school assets including land, buildings, equipment, and vehicles. Assets were categorized, verified, recorded, and documented according to Ministry of Finance regulations and Executive Yuan accounting standards for future reference and inventory management.

Outstanding School

In September 2005, the university completed the fixed asset depreciation method for the university fund, carried out a comprehensive asset inventory, and was recognized as an outstanding school.

Computerized Asset Management

In June 1995, the university implemented a computerized asset management system. By August 2003, barcode labels for assets were introduced to enhance efficiency and improve information management.

Asset Management Division

In June 2024, the university council decided to reorganize into the Asset Management Division. After approval by the Ministry of Education in July, it officially took effect on August 1, 2024. The division centralizes management of university real estate and maximizes revenue generation.
