Project Name Progress Description
New Student Dormitory Building (Visit Project Website) On January 3, 2018, detailed design completed. May 29, reviewed by the County Urban Design Review Committee. August 14, held the 5th working meeting. Public project review and building permit application completed. Tender opened on December 12, 2018; selection completed December 19. Initially expected completion in May 2021; due to 66-day extension, revised completion date August 10, 2021. Scheduled move-in for the new semester February 2022 (subject to relevant permits and approvals).
On January 10, 2019, price bid held; February 15, 2019, construction briefing; demolition started March 6, 2019, with groundbreaking ceremony on March 26. Completed on November 5, 2021, and project acceptance on April 22, 2022. Site inspection completed May 6, 2022. Fire safety inspection deficiency rechecked on June 20, only generator affidavit needed for compliance. Occupancy permit application in progress.
Room and bed configuration: 6 accessible double rooms (12 beds), 220 quadruple rooms (880 beds), 20 double rooms in the Scholar Hall. Common facilities: 1 large lounge, 1 multifunctional study/discussion room, 1 international kitchen, 2 lounges per floor. Basement parking: 5 car spaces, 264 motorcycle spaces.
Student Dormitory Building Environment Upgrade Renovation Contract On October 26, 2021, Procurement Evaluation Committee established. First meeting held November 8, 2021, setting scoring criteria and evaluation standards. First tender February 16, 2022, did not meet minimum 3 bids. Most advantageous bidder selected March 28, 2022. Detailed design review May 9, second review May 18, 2022. Material selection and color samples finalized June 9, 2022, with minor design revisions approved. Construction scheduled to begin in July 2022.
New Construction of Second Student Dormitory Project plan modification in progress by the Campus Development Center.
First Student Dormitory Public Restroom Renovation Price negotiation completed June 9, 2022; construction expected to begin in July 2022.
Third Student Dormitory Restroom Improvement Basic design review completed April 20, 2022, detailed design review May 18, 2022. Project preparation for tender in progress.
Student Dormitory Area Road Improvement First tender April 8, 2022, no bids received. Revised design and first tender May 17, 2022, still fewer than 3 bids, re-tender May 24, 2022. Construction planned for July 2022 to accommodate students leaving June 27.
Third Student Dormitory Painting First tender announcement, awarded May 17, 2022. Construction scheduled to start June 28, 2022.
Third Student Dormitory Replacement of 148 Bedroom Doors First tender announcement, first tender May 17, 2022, failed to reach minimum bids, awarded May 24, 2022. Additional 4 doors purchased June 17, totaling 152 doors. Manufacturer production in progress, installation scheduled for late July 2022.
Second Student Dormitory Roof Substation LBS High Voltage Emergency Repair Emergency repair completed April 26, 2022; price negotiation completed May 19, 2022. Further acceptance will proceed after vendor submits completion documents.
Procurement for Planning, Design, and Supervision Services for Improvement and Replacement of Power Supply Equipment in Second Student Dormitory Substation Budget allocated at NT$4,234,315 (Ministry of Education subsidy NT$2,734,315, university funding NT$1,000,000, General Affairs Office NT$500,000). Budget review meeting passed September 1, 2021. Vendor raised objections September 9 (received September 10). Coordination meeting held October 8, 2021; all items discussed and resolved. Revised budget drawings and construction specifications to be submitted within 14 calendar days. Technician collected testing data October 27, 2021; revised budget drawings resubmitted December 6, 2021. Detailed design review approved April 11, 2022. First supervision plan submission April 19, 2022. First tender June 28, 2022, failed. Second tender to be scheduled.
